Insight of Indian Industrial Revolution

The Labour Day was celebrated in US recently which has recalled me of Indian Industrial Revolution. Hence I am presenting this topic in front of you. The Industrial revolution’s base in India was setup during the early 50’s and continued till late 70’s. These three decades taught us many things:-
1. Industry not run by machines but by the people the weakness of appropriate labour laws and corruption in government offices and Politics made labours to come on streets for their rights. Which hampered both India’s growth as well as Image in the eyes of the world.
2. Dispersed Sectoral reforms during the initial days of 50’s which continued till 60’s made many Industries fight for existence later on and India missed chance of filling the gap made by US and Briton’s exhausted Industries. Later better picked up by China and now is Economic Power House of the world.
3. The Industrial Revolution made few already rich people become richer this hampered the actual sentiment which is benefit to every Indian cutting across lines of its cast creed or religion.
4. Yet opening Indian Market and reforms in 90’s was exhausted move by Indian Government with burnt hands of not to say as failed but not much successful Industrial revolution of 70’s. But was efficiently picked up Indian entrepreneurs and India emerged as a software Giant and greatest pool of Indian talent was well utilised.

There is a long way ahead for India as country and economy which requires corruption free environment by bureaucracy and honest efforts by aristocracy.
