A non analytic answer is Android has largest market share and diversity of phones and OS which Android have is not present in Iphones, BlackBerrys and Siri OS. Let me show one thing for my readers here is that Facebook is on verge of launching OS. Till the time OS is in lab Facebook wants to make sure that all supporting apps are launched. The reasons to enter a Mobile OS Market is yet to be discovered. But reason behind Facebook is building apps focussed on Android when launching an OS the Facebook developers must have imbibed all the features which Android has. Afterall which app builder wants its app not be developed for number Mobile OS Android after all it is a matter of bread and butter for Apps builders to build apps around number 1 OS in world to make sure most downloads.

Coming back to Facebook home page app. Point number 1 which is its major feature it seems on the home page of the Android phone hiding all its usual stuff on screen. Google must be really upset with this development. And they are going to make sure that Facebook App is a Big Flop somehow. Some questions may arise why it never happened to Microsoft before, after all many applications, browsers, addons are build in and around MS OS (XP, Vista, 7, 8), But I see a difference in approach. Microsoft started it’s OS with a hidden code approach. Whereas Google has made Android’s Door open to all. And this approach probably is the reason behind this Facebook Home Page development.
