Data Encryption & Frequency Hopping

My Fortieth Post is dedicated to one of the most secured Data Transmission and Encryption Technique.

This technique of frequency hopping is devised so as to ensure sneaked in hackers and unwanted visitors couldn’t understand the message as the messages are sent on various frequencies and the right pattern of frequency to hop to is with transmitter and receiver only.

The dictionary meaning of Hopping is jumping hence Frequency Hopping means that message sent in various bursts on various frequencies with a particular pattern and transmitter hops on to the right frequency in right time and hence ultimately decode the message.

With the help of frequency hopping the message is sent on the actual frequency+carrier frequency and multiple bursts of encrypted message sent by transmitter and received by receiver. Now to understand the point with an example. Say the message is “Hello” this message is sent as “Ifmmp”. The message would be sent in this pattern:-

Message Transmitting Freq.
I 802 MHz
F 805 MHz
M 808 MHz
M 811 MHz
P 814 MHz

Now unwanted would not get this message due to two way security first the message is sent in bursts on various frequencies and second this message is decoded with the help of decryption key provided by transmitter.

To conclude now The encrypted communication when sent in burst on a range of frequency is the most secured mode of communication.
